9:00—10:00 “Gymnastics for Common Horse & Rider Problems”
Born in Canada, Lezlie D. Wilkie, member of the United States Equestrian Federation and AQHA, has been showing on the USEF hunter/jumper circuit since 1983. She has trained with 1989 AGA rider of the year, Tony Font, for several years. She has started and trained many young horses, young riders, and amateur adults for hunters and jumpers. Ms. Wilkie has bred some of the top Selle-Francais horses in North America,some of the highest scores and awards from NASFA and USEF. She has built two equestrian facilities in the last 20 years, and has held SMHJA and MHSA horse shows. She continues to train horses and riders at her current facility, Charis Farms, in Springfield, MO.

10:00—11:00 “Braiding Techniques for the Show Ring”
Cynthia Thomas has been riding and showing Hunters and Jumpers for over 25 years. Cynthia and Thomas own Maple Ridge Farms in Ozark, Missouri. They offer quality, personalized service on a very small scale in an environment that is respectful,
positive and encouraging. Cynthia has been active in the SMHJA since moving here from Ontario, Canada in 1997.

11:00 - 12:00 “Use of Cavalletti in Flat Work”
Karissa Cassidy is the owner and trainer of Katalyst Sporthorses, a 15-stall boarding and training facility located in Fair Grove, MO. has over 23 years of riding experience and has trained with international dressage rider, Sheila Kaufman, and European instructor and vet, Dr Henri Lespinasse, for over 10 years. With experience on the HITS national jumping circuit, St Louis Charity Horse Show and the American Royal, she is an experienced instructor in both jumping and dressage with a teaching program that emphasizes European theories of balance, straightness and suppleness. Lessons are offered for all ages and skill levels with school horses and ponies available for those without a horse.

12:00- 1:00 “Teaching Beginners to Jump”
Christine Stokely is a Hunter/Jumper Trainer, Instructor, and owner of Stokely Farms in Republic MO.She has taught riding for over 25 years, and has taken numerous riders, from beginning on up, producing winners in the Children's & Amateur Hunter &
Equitation Division throughout the Midwest.students have placed & won at7Finals. Christine has qualifying riders for the regional Maclay Finals and National Medal Finals as well.will be demonstrating and instructing her progressive, step by step approach to teaching riders the basics of jumping, from a single fence to the mechanics of negotiating a course of 8 hunter type fences, while developing a strong base and foundation to expand to the upper levels.on time, Christine will includesystematic an equitation/jumper course.

1:00—2:00 “Lunging and Double Lunging Training Techniques”
Cynthia Spalding became certified as an American Riding Instructor Level III Instructor in 1985. She has coached riders and trained horses to Grand Prix Dressage, and travels across the USA to give Dressage Clinics. Cynthia was the head trainer at Mile High Horse Ranch in Colorado and competed the well known imported Trakehner stallions, Pregelstrand and Mozart. She has worked with difficult horses successfully since 1964. She participated in the US Olympic screening trials in 1978 and in 1980, and has worked with four Olympic coaches over the last 45 years.

2:00—3:00 “Overcoming Rider Fear: Beginners to Veterans"
Mary-Charlotte (Chardy) Shealy, R.N., Ph.D. is the Founder/Director of the Success-Centered Riding/Training
Workshops (SCRTTM) at Brindabella Farms, Fair Grove, Missouri.She specializes in working with novice adult riders and those who are frustrated with their lack of riding progress. She also works with instructors, consults on rider issues and teaches physical conditioning of the rider and horse, and equine management.Chardy is the author of Practical Horse Management and other published works. Chardy has attained Centered Riding R Levelstatus. Her Ph.D. is in Health Communications.

3:00—4:00 “Finding Your Dressage Seat”
Lynn Wedow has a diverse equestrianfrom Western Pleasure to Rodeo, then onto/Jumpers, and finally settling in the discipline of Dressage. ResidingElizabeth, Colorado,was invited to participate in the showcase while working with her Holistic modalities on horses in the area. Lynn is certified in Equine Cranio-Sacral Balancing,a Western/English Riding InstructorColorado State University, and has a Veterinary Technician Degree.

Please bring a chair. No dogs, please. Lunch available onsite.
